POST STITCHES
Don't be afraid to try a pattern because it contains a post stitch.
Post stitches are regular crochet stitches. Their placement is all that makes them different.
FRONT POST STITCH: Insert hook from the front side from right to left around post of st on previous row, complete the indicated stitch.
BACK POST STITCH: Insert hook from the back side from right
to left around post of st on previous row, complete the indicated stitch.

Some stitches are worked in the front or back loop of an existing stitch. To remember which loop is the front and which is the back... just think about the front loop being the loop directly in "front" of you. Then you will remember the back loop must be the one farthest away from you..

Subject: Dog_Bandana
Hi, I wanted to communicate with you because when I enter the page to see
the pattern, only the one for the band appears. Is that the only one you
have or is in another place?=

Hello,
The pattern on this page:
http://www.crochetnmore.com/dogbandana.htm
is for the entire bandana.
Rows 1-3 are the band... Rows 4-end is the rest of the pattern.
Row 5 is repeated to make the bandana come to a point.
Hope this helps.

Re: Crochet Tip:
If you are working on a project using a variegated yarn and run out just a few stitches short of completing the project. Look through your other yarns for a similar color to one of those found in the variegated yarn and use it to complete those last few stitches.

or pull out a few stitches or part of a row and crochet it a lil bit tighter and you should have enough to finish

This book is a wonderful
addition to any crochet library.
I've had numerous requests over the years of what to crochet for boys.
Crobots are definitely the answer!
This 96-page book is filled with numerous types of Crobot patterns as well as
well-illustrated instructions for the crochet stitches, assembly stitches and
other embellishments used in the patterns. The patterns are well written, some
of the book is written in a small font but the pictures are wonderful.
NOTE: This book comes to you with a safety warning regarding the small parts used in the patterns. Therefore, please use your own discretion as to the age of the child you intend the gift for.

I have to tell you about this new book.
SweaterBabe.com's Fabulous & Flirty Crochet
I'm so happy to have it in my crochet library.
Katherine Lee has an eye for style and a definite knack for creating beautiful
crochet patterns.
I was really happy with the large colorful project photos.
There's something for everyone!
The aspect of Fabulous and Flirty Crochet that stood out to me was the section
on the yarns used in the patterns.
One page shows "actual size" photos of the yarns which makes it super
easy to substitute other yarns if you want to.
For those who stay strictly to the recommended yarn in a pattern Katherine has
included a yarn resource list.
The projects are very fashionable and perfect for gift giving... though I'm
sure you'll have to make something for yourself :o)
I can't wait to try the Flirty Skirt and the Ruffled Strap Tank.

"You just go ahead," the man in the shopping mall said
to his wife. "While you're shopping, I'll browse in the
hardware store."
An hour later, she returned and saw him at the checkout
counter. The clerk was ringing up the last of a pile of
tools and supplies that would fill two wheelbarrows.
"Are you buying all this?" his wife asked incredulously.
"Well, yes," he said, embarrassed. Then waving his arm
toward the interior of the store, he added, "But look at
all the stuff I'm leaving behind!"
A man goes to the doctor and tells him that he hasn't
been feeling well.
The doctor examines him, leaves the room and comes back
with three different bottles of pills. The doctor says,
"Take the green pill with a big glass of water when you
get up. Take the blue pill with a big glass of water after
lunch. Then just before going to bed, take the red pill
with another big glass of water."
Startled to be put on so much medicine the man stammers,
"Jeez doc, exactly what's my problem?"
The Doctor says, "You're not drinking enough water."
A teenager who had just received her learner's permit offered to drive her parents to church. After a hair-raising ride, they finally reached their destination.
When the mother got out of the car she said emphatically, "Thank you!"
"Anytime," her daughter replied with a smile.
As her mother headed for the church door, she said, "I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to God."
The second grade teacher read her class the Nativity
story from the Bible. After they heard how baby Jesus
was born in a stable in Bethlehem, the teacher asked:
“And what does the story teach us?”
Without hesitation, one student responded: “That you
don’t have to be born in a hospital."
Two paramedics were dispatched to check on an elderly man
who had become disoriented. They decided to take him to
the hospital for evaluation.
En route, with siren going, they questioned the man to
determine his level of awareness. Leaning close, one asked,
"Sir, do you know what we're doing right now?"
The old man slowly looked up at him, then gazed out the
ambulance window.
"Oh," he replied, "I'd say about 50, maybe 55."
There’s a story about a little girl who, on the way home from church, turned to her mother and said, "Mommy, the Preacher's sermon this morning confused me."
The mother said, "Oh! Why is that?"
The girl replied, "Well, he said that God is bigger than we are. Is that true?"
"Yes, that's true," the mother replied.
"He also said that God lives within us. Is that true, too?"
Again the mother replied, "Yes."
"Well," said the girl. "If God is bigger than us and He lives in us, wouldn't He show through?"
