MATERIALS:
Hook: Size H
Yarn: 4 ply worsted weight
Stitches used: ch, sc, dc, cr st.
Difficulty: MEDIUM
ROW 1: Ch 20, dcin 4th ch from hk and in each rem ch. (18 dc). Ch3, turn.
ROW 2: *Sk next dc, dc in next dc, dc in dc just skipped <Cross Stitch Made>. Rep from * across. Dc in last dc. Ch 3, turn.
ROWS 3-7: Cross Stitch in each cross stitch, dc in last st. Ch 3, turn.
ROW 8: Dc in each st. Ch 1, turn. (Square should be 5" x 5" now)
BEGIN WORKING IN ROUNDS
R 9: Sc in each dc and evenly space sc stitches down each side being sure to place 3 sc in each corner. Ch 1, Do not turn.
R 10: Sc in each sc being sure to place 3 sc in each corner. (Square should be 6" x 6" now)
FASTEN OFF.
WEAVE IN ENDS.
NOTE: If your finished square doesn't measure 6" x 6" then you need to adjust your hook size.
