15 EstherNOTE: This Bible Trivia Question was in a Bible game we play at church.

Bradley Taylor wrote me on 12/17/01 to say:
"Song of Solomon does not mention the word God either."

If you know of another Bible book that does not contain the word God please let me know.

16 Revelation

"Just as Genesis is the book of beginnings, Revelation is the book of consummation.
In it, the divine program of redemption is brought to fruition, and the holy name fo God is vindicated
before all creation. Although there are numerous prophecies in the Gospels and Epistles, Revelation
is the only New Testament book that focuses primarily on prophetic events. Its title means "unveiling"
or "disclosure." Thus, the book is an unveiling of the character and program of God. Penned by
John during his exile on the island of Patmos, Revelation centers around visions and symbols of
the resurrected Christ, who alone has authroity to judge the earth, to remake it, and to rule it in righteousness."

17 Adam

"So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs,
and closed up the flesh at that place."

Genesis 2:21

18 No! The Bible doesn't specify how many.

The Bible refers to the wisemen as the "magi" and doesn't tell their names anywhere.
You can find the term "magi" in Matthew, Chapter 2. The Bible doesn't state how many wisemen there were.

Something to think about:

According to the Bible the wisemen came to Mary's house where she was with baby Jesus
and they gave him gifts of Gold, Frankencinse and Myrrh (Matt. 2:11). It is thought that there
were only 3 wisemen because there were only 3 gifts mentioned. It is believed that the reason
the gifts were given at the house is that Jesus wasn't a newborn baby at that time. The Bible
references in Matthew 2:16 that King Herod ordered that all of the babies under the age of 2
be killed, therefore if Jesus was under 2 he should've been murdered. This supports the idea
that he should've been older than 2 years. In contrast, Matthew 2:19-21 says that an angel
appeared to Joseph in a dream and told him to take the Child and his mother and go to Israel.
This could be argued that Jesus was still a baby at the time that the Magi could've given Him the gifts.

19 "Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the Lord descended upon it in fire; and its smoke
ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked violently."
20 Adam lay with his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said,
"With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man."
21 The Son of Man

"... and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn,
and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory."

22 It is easier for a CAMEL to go through the EYE of a NEEDLE
than for a RICH man to enter the kingdom of God!
23 As a mustard seed.

And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you,
if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,'
and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you.

24 Stephen

And they went on stoning Stephen as he called upon the Lord and said, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!"

And falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them!"
And having said this, he fell asleep.
