Nylon Mini Tote Free Crochet Pattern
5-3/4" x 9" (including handle)

The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.


J & P Coats Crochet 100% Nylon (Any color - less than 4 ounces)
H Hook
Yarn Needle

Stitches: ch, dc, sc, sl st.

Difficulty: MEDIUM

R1: Ch2, 6sc in the second ch from the hook.

R2: -begin continuous rounds-
Do not turn or join. Working in a continuous round, sc in ea sc until the Handle measures 8" long.

Hold the stitches flat on the last round and sc through cor sts to close. (3sc)

Ch20, being careful not to twist the chains, hold sts flat on opposite end of handle and sc through cor sts to close that end. (3sc)

Ch20, being careful not to twist the chains, join with a sl st in the first sc made. (6sc & 40chs)
NOTE: This establishes the top of the tote.


R1: Ch1, turn. Sc in the hump of ea ch and in ea st on the handles (46sts).

R2: Ch4, turn. (Sk next st, dc in next st, ch1) around.
Join with a sl st in the 3rd ch of the beg ch4.

R3: Ch1, do not turn. Sc in ea dc and in ea ch1 sp. (46sc)

Do not join

Begin continuous rounds.... work 1 sc in ea sc around until the piece measures 7" from top to bottom and your last st is below one handle. Sl st in next st.

Turn piece inside-out, pull thread through opening also. Sc in all corresponding sts tog.

Fasten off.

Using the same thread and a yarn needle, fold the corners and stitch through both layers where lines are in the photo below to form the bottom.

Turn tote back right-side out and enjoy.
