With CC, and working from bottom to top in the chain spaces, sl st around the first ch left unworked. Sl st around ea unworked ch until you get to the top of the square. Fasten off and repeat for the next vertical divider.

Watch the following video to see how to make the slip stitches that form the dividers.

The horizontal dividers are worked similar to the vertical dividers with the exception of a few chains. Using CC, and working from right to left, sl st around the first st, (ch1, sl st around next st) across. Note: When you come to the vertical divider row just work over it.

R1: Using CC, ch1, do not turn. Sc evenly around entire square, placing 3sc in ea corner. Join with a sl st in the first sc made.

Rs2-3: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st and place 3sc in ea corner st. Join with a sl st in the first sc made.

Fasten off.
