MATERIALS:
Red Heart Supersaver Yarn (worsted weight) - Red & Green
Hook Size G
Magnet
Glue
(I like a hot glue gun)
Stitches: ch, sl st, sc, sc dec, hdc.
Difficulty: EASY
R1: Using Red, ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in next ch, 2 sc in next ch, sc in last 2 chs. Ch 1, turn.
R2: 2 sc in same st as beg ch 1, sc in ea st across to last sc, 2 sc in last sc. [8sc]
R3: Sc in ea sc. Ch 1, turn.
R4: Rep R3.
R5: Rep R2. [10sc]
R6: Rep R3.
R7: Rep R3.
R8: Sc dec over 1st 2 sts. Sc across to last 2 sts. Sc dec over last 2 sts. Ch 1, turn.
R9: Sc in 1st 3 sts. Sl st in next 2 sts. Sc in last 3 sts. Ch 1, turn.
R10: Sc dec over 1st 2 sts. Sc in next st. Sl st in next 2 sts. Sc in next st. Sc dec over last 2 sts. Ch 1, turn.
Edging: Sc evenly around entire apple. Join with sl st and fasten off.
Leaf: Using green, join with a sl st near top center of apple. Ch 6. Working in the humps (back side) of the chain, sl st in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch, sl st in next ch, sl st in same sp as joining.
Fasten Off.
