Baby Bottle Cover Photo
Fits the 4 or 8 oz bottles that use the little bag inserts... you know the brand :o)

 

The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
This pattern has not been tested so please contactme if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Hook: Size F

Yarn: Simply Soft Yarn (4 ply worsted weight)

Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, hdc, tr.

Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM



RND 1: Ch 27, join with sl st to form a ring being careful not to twist the chain.

RND 2: Ch 2 (counts as the first hdc), hdc in next st, tr in next st. * Hdc in next 2 sts, tr in next st.
Rep from * around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 2. Do not turn.

RND 3: Ch 2 (counts as the first hdc), hdc in each st around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 2.
Do not turn.

RNDS 4-7: Rep Row 3

RND 8: Rep Row 2.

NOTE: For a 4 oz bottle, stop at Rnd 9 then do round 16 on both ends.

RNDS 9-13: Rep Row 3.

RND 14: Rep Row 2.

RND 15: Rep Row 3.

RND 16: Ch 2 more. * Sk next st, sc in next st, ch 4. Rep from * around placing a sc in the last st. Now continue working in the same manner {* Sk next st, sc in next st, ch 4. Rep from * around} filling in the skipped stitches and overlapping the chains.

FINISHING: Attach yarn on opposite end, ch 2 then Rep Rnd 16. For decoration you can add ribbon, sew on an applique, etc.

FASTEN OFF.

WEAVE IN ENDS.
