The following pattern is my original design.

MATERIALS:
4 ply Cotton Yarn
Hook Size H
1/8" ribbon
(1-5' piece for heart)
Yarn Needle
Stitches: ch, sl st, sc, rev sc.
REVERSE SINGLE CROCHET:
Work a single crochet stitch in the indicated space to the right of your hook.
Difficulty: EASY-MEDIUM
R 1: Ch 41, sc in hump of 2nd ch from hook. Sc in hump of ea rem ch. Ch 1, turn.
R 2-63: Sc in ea sc. Ch 1, turn.
R 64: Sc in ea sc. Ch 1, do not turn.
BORDER: Rev sc evenly around entire cloth placing extra stitches in the corners.
Join with sl st in 1st rev sc.
FASTEN OFF.
Cut a piece of ribbon about 5' long. Thread a yarn needle and bring ends together.
I started at the top center of the heart, leaving about 6" when I started stitching.
I stitched the heart using slanted stitches (refer to the close-up photo above and
the chart below).
Then I used the ends to tie a bow at the top center of the heart.
