                            A SWEATER FOR BARBIE by CEClark
                            
                              MATERIALS:  -WORSTED WEIGHT YARN
                               -SIZE 9(CANADIAN) KNITTING NEEDLES
                            
                              CAST ON 14 STITCHES(WORKED IN ONE PIECE)
                              KNIT 2 ROWS
                              WORK 12 ROWS STOCKING STITCH (KNIT 1 ROW, PURL 1 ROW)
                              CAST ON 10 STITCHES BEGINNING OF NEXT 2 ROWS(BEING SURE TO CONTINUE IN STOCK-         ING STITCH)
                              WORK 4 ROWS STOCKING STITCH
                              KNIT 13 STITCHES, CAST OFF 8 STITCHES, KNIT 13 STITCHES
                              PURL 13 STITCHES, CAST ON 8 STITCHES, PURL 13 STITCHES
                              WORK 4 ROWS STOCKING STITCH
                              CAST OFF 10 STITCHES BEGINNING OF NEXT 2 ROWS
                              WORK 12 ROWS STOCKING STITCH
                              KNIT 2 ROWS
                              CAST OFF

                            TUBE TOP FOR BARBIE by CEClark
                            Materials: size 9 knitting needles and a small amount worsted (sayelle) yarn
                            Cast on 19 stitches
                              Work 8 rows moss stitch (k1, p1) across row
                              Cast off loosely  Leave about a 6 in. yarn for sewing
                              Sew short ends together.
                            *For a different look-cast on 20 st and work in ribbing (k1, p1)
                               -or add crochet chain straps (about 2 1/2 in)
                              · put on doll by putting feet first and pulling up into place(if not casted off loosely you will find it hard to  get over hips
                             
                            
                            
                            
                            
                            
                            
                            BELL BOTTOMS FOR BARBIE by CEClark
                            Materials: size 9 knitting needles, worsted (sayelle) yarn
                            Cast on 20 st
                              Row 1&2 work in ribbing (k1,p1)
                              Row 3 knit
                              Row 4 purl
                              Row 5 knit increasing 1 stitch each end of needle. (22st)
                              Row 6 purl
                              -repeat rows 5&6 until you have 30 stitches on needle (be sure to end with purl row)
                              Divide for legs
                              Row 1 (of leg) knit 15
                              Row 2 purl
                              -continue in stocking stitch (knit 1 row, purl 1 row) until 22 rows from leg beginning
                              Row 23 (k2, increase 1)across (20 st)
                              Row 24 purl
                              Row 25 (k2, inc 1) across to last 2 stitches, knit 2  (26 st)
                              Row 26 to 34 continue in stocking stitch (ending with purl row)
                              Cast off (leave about 12 in. end for sewing)
                              Make second leg the same
                              Sew up leg and back seems.
                             
                            
                            
                            
                            
                            
                            
                            BARBIE PURSE by CEClark
                            MATERIAL:  Small amount worsted yarn (4 ply)
                               Size 9 Canadian knitting needles
                               Size 2.5mm crochet hook
                               1 snap
                               1 bead (optional)
                            Cast on 11 stitches
                              Work in moss stitch (k1, pl)  until piece measures about 3 1/4 inches
                              Next row: 
                               -K2 together (k1, p1) to last 2 stitches purl 2 together (9 st)
                               -K2 together (p1, k1) to last 2 stitches, knit 2 together (7 st)
                               -K2 together p1, k2 together (3st)
                              Cast off
                              Work in ends
                              Fold like an envelope, sew up sides.
                              Sew snap for closing.  (Can aslo sew a small bead on top of flap for an added touch)
                              Now you have a clutch purse.
                              *For a shoulder bag take a crochet hook and join your yarn with a slip stitch on top of  sewn end.  Chain 30 stitches then join with another slip stitch on other side.
