Measures
7" wide x 4" tall

Drape the
spiderweb table topper
over a shelf or lay it on a
table to sit the
candy cauldron
on for Halloween.

The following pattern is my original design.

MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver - Black
Hook Size N
Yarn Needle

Stitches: ch, sl st, sc, hdc.

Difficulty: MEDIUM/DIFFICULT


R1: Holding 2 strands tog throughout, ch3, 11hdc in 3rd ch from hook. Join with sl st in top of beg ch3.

R2: Ch1, do not turn. Sc in same st. 2sc in ea rem st. Join with sl st to beg ch. (24sc)

R3: Ch1, do not turn. sc in ea st around. Join with sl st to beg ch. (24sc)

R4: Rep R2 (48sc)

Rs5-13: Rep R3

R14: Ch1, do not turn. (sc2tog. Sc in next 10 sts) 4 times. Join with sl st to beg ch.

R15: Ch1, do not turn. (2sc in next st. Sc in next st) around. Join with sl st to beg ch.

FASTEN OFF.

EDGE/RIM: Fold to top edge down toward the outside of the cauldron. With one strand of the same yarn and a yarn needle, sew R15 to R12.

FINISHING: With same yarn, weave a strand through R12 and draw it up to help shape the caudron.
