The following pattern is my original design.

MATERIALS:
Red Heart 4 ply Worsted Weight Yarn ( two or more colors)
G Hook
Stitches Used: ch, sl st, sc, lsc.
LSC (Long Single Crochet)
Insert hook in indicated stitch, yo, draw a loop through (2 loops on hook), yo,
draw through both loops on the hook.

Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM
R1: With the main color, ch 22, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each rem ch across. Ch 1, turn. (21 sc)
R2: Sc in ea sc across, ch 1, turn.
R3: Sc in ea sc across.
Change Colors
R4: Ch 1, sc in same sp. (lsc 1 row below, sc in next st) across.
Ch 1, turn.
R5: Rep R2.
R6: Rep R3.
Change Colors
Repeat Rows 4-6 for 6 more color changes.
EDGING: Using the main color (the color you started with)
Sc evenly around entire coaster placing 3 sc in ea corner.
OPTIONAL - additional edging row. (Shown in Photo)
Do not turn. Ch 1, rev sc in ea st around for a rolled edge.
Work each rev sc loosely and you don't extra stitches in
the corners.
