Carrot Candy Favor

Measures 7" tall


The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (Small amount of Orange and Green)
Hook Size H

Options:
1: Add candy and use with place settings on an Easter themed table.
2: Add candy and weave ribbon through the top opening to close in order to give as a an Easter gift. (kids will love them)

Stitches: ch, sc, sc2tog, dc, sl st.

Difficulty: MEDIUM

 


R1: Ch18, Join to form a ring being careful not to twist. Ch1, sc in the hump of ea ch. (18sc)

R2-3: Begin continuous round. PM, sc in ea st. (18sts)

R4: PM, (Sc2tog, sc in next 7sts) 2x (16sts)

Rs5-6: PM, Sc in ea st. (16sts)

R7: PM, (Sc2tog, sc in next 6sts) twice. (14sts)

Rs8-9: PM, Sc in ea st. (14sts)

R10: PM, (Sc2tog, sc in next 5sts) twice. (12sts)

R11-12: PM, Sc in ea st. (12sts)

R13: PM, (Sc2tog, sc in next 4sts) twice. (12sts)

R14-15: PM, Sc in ea st. (10ts)

R16: PM, (Sc2tog, sc in 3 sts) twice. (8sts)

Rs17-18: PM, Sc in ea st. (8sts)

R:19: PM, (Sc2tog, sc in 2sts) twice. (6sts)

R20: PM, (Sc2tog) three times.


Fasten off and weave in the ends..

LEAVES

R1: Join green with a sc in any st along the edge facing you. Sc in the next 5sts.

R2: Ch3, turn. Dc in the same st.
(Ch3, sl st in the second and third chs. Dc in the next st. Ch3, sl st in the second and first ch. Dc in same st.) 4 times. Ch3, sl st in the second and third chs. 2dc in the last st.

Fasten off.
