MATERIALS:

Peaches & Creme 4 Ply Cotton Yarn (White - less than 3 ounces)
Peaches & Creme 4 Ply Cotton Yarn (Green- less than 1 ounce)
Hook Size H

Stitches: ch, sc, sl st.

NOTE: Work over the unused color when making color changes in between the green checks.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

R1: With White, Ch36. Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. Sc in ea rem ch. (35sc)

Rs2-4: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st.

R5: Ch1, turn. Sc in 5sts.
* Change to green, sc in 5sts. Change to White, sc in 5sts.
Rep from * once.

Rs6-8: Rep R5.

R9: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st.

Rs 10-12: Rep R9.

Rs 13-16: Ch1, turn. Sc in 10sts.
Change to green, sc in 5sts.
Change to white, sc in 5sts.
Change to green, sc in 5sts.
Change to white, sc in 10sts.

Rs17-20: Rep R9.

Rs 21-36: Rep Rs 5-20.

Rs 37-44: Rep Rs 5-12.

BORDER

R1: Continue working in White, Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st and row end around, placing 3sc in ea corner. Join with a sl st. Fasten off.

R2: Turn dishcloth over, join green yarn with a sc in any st. Sc in ea st and row end around placing 3sc in ea corner. Join with a sl st. Fasten off.
