MATERIALS:
Lion Chenille Sensations -small amount of Garnet
Hook Size H
Yarn Needle
Small Wooden Toy Block
5/8" Ribbon - 18 inch length
Ornament Hanger
Stitches: ch, sl st, sc.
Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM
--MAKE 6--
R1: Ch5, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in ea rem ch.
R2: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea sc.
R3: Rep R2
Fasten Off leaving a yarn tail for sewing.
ASSEMBLY:
Using a yarn needle and the yarn tails for sewing, join the pieces to form a cube
using a whip stitch. Insert the wooden block before sewing the last seams.
Tie a ribbon around the gift and add a hanger
(I didn't add a hanger to the one on the photo because I didn't have one).
NOTE: I don't recommend using the same yarn for the hanger on this project because the
chenille yarn tends to fray easily.
