The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.

MATERIALS:

Sugar N Cream (Cotton Yarn - 4 ply ww)
Hook Size G

Stitches: ch, sc, hdc, dc, sl st, pc, rev sc, sc2tog, tr.

PC POPCORN The standard popcorn stitch is worked as follows:
5 dc in next ch, drop lp from hook, insert hook in first st of 5-dc group, pick up dropped lp, draw through st, ch 1. Then you can pop the popcorn to the right or wrong side of the work as needed.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM


R1: With Red, put a slip knot on your hook. Yarn over and pull the short tail through the loop on the hook leaving a ring. Now put the hook back into the original loop and begin working into the ring. Work 12sc in the ring, then tighten the short yarn tail to make the hole in the center smaller. Join with a sl st in the first sc. [Right Side]

R2: Ch1, turn. (Sc, tr) in same st. (Sc, tr) in ea rem st. Join with sl st in first sc. (12sc & 12tr)
Fasten Off. [Wrong Side]

R3: With Right Side facing, join White with a sc in any tr. Sc in main ring (this is the main center of Rnd 1 of the project). (Sc in next tr, sk next sc, sc in main ring) around. Join with sl st in the first sc. [Right Side]

R4: Ch2, do not turn. Hdc in same st. 2hdc in ea st around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch2. (48hdc)

R5: Ch2, do not turn. Hdc in ea st around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch2. (48hdc)

R6: Ch1, do not turn. Sc2tog around. Join with sl st in first st. (24sts)

R7: Ch1, do not turn. Sc in ea st around. Join with sl st in first st. (24sc)

R8: Ch3, do not turn. 4dc in same sp.
(Now, drop the lp from hook, insert hook in the top of the beg ch3,
pick up dropped lp, draw through st, ch 1. )
PC in ea st around being sure to push the stitch to the front of the work.
Fasten Off.

R9: Join Red with right side facing. RevSc in ea st. Join with sl st.
Fasten Off.
