Christmas Stocking
11" x 8-1/2"


The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver
---White, less than 8 ounces
---Red, less than 2 ounces

Hook - Size N

Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, sc dec.

Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM


NOTE: Entire pattern is worked holding 2 strands tog.

-MAKE 2-

R1: Ch 26, sc in hump of 2nd ch from hook. Sc in hump of ea rem ch. (25 sc) Ch 1, turn.

R2-12: Sc in ea st. Ch 1, turn.

R13-18: Sc in 11 sts. Ch 1, turn.

R19-21: Sc dec over 2 sts. Sc in each st across to last 2 sts. Sc dec over last 2 sts. Ch 1, turn.

JOINING:

Beginning at back top of stocking, attach same color yarn and sc all the corresponding sts tog (NOTE: be sure to place 3 sc at the heel and 2 sc in each sc dec on the last row) around the stocking leaving the top sts unworked. Do not fasten off. Continue working sc evenly around the top of stocking. Join with sl st. Fasten Off.

TURN STOCKING INSIDE OUT

CUFF

R1: Join Red in any st on the last sc row. Sc in ea st. Ch 1, turn.

R2-5: Sc in ea st. Ch 1, turn.

R6: (Sc, ch 3) around. Join with sl st.

Fasten Off.

Fold red cuff down.

With two strands of red make a chain of 50 and weave in the ends.
Using the photo as a guide, put the chain through the front of the stocking and tie a bow.
