Working from bottom to top, reattach yarn in the unworked loop of the first sc made on R1.
(Ch2, sk next unworked lp, sl st in next unworked lp) until cone is covered.

At the last st you turn and work from the top back to the bottom.
Ch3, turn.

Sc in next ch2 sp.

* [2dc, (ch3, sc in 3rd ch from hook), 2dc] in next ch2 sp.
Sc in next ch2 sp.

Rep from * until entire cone is covered.

Add miniature decorations: beads or tiny bows for ornaments and embroidery floss or specialty yarn for garland. Use your imagination.

NOTE: If you do not have a cardboard cone you can stuff the tree with plastic bags or make a cone using a regular piece of cardboard.
