MATERIALS:

Red Heart 4 ply WW Yarn (green & brown)
Hook Size G

Stitches: ch, sl st, sc, hdc, dc.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

R1: With Green, Ch4, 2dc in the 4th ch from the hook.

R2: Ch3, turn. Dc in same st. 2dc in ea rem dc. (6dc)

R3: Ch3, turn. Dc in same st. Dc in ea st across to last.
2dc in last st. (8dc)

R4: Rep R3. (10dc)

R5: Rep R3. (12dc)

R6: Rep R3. (14dc)

R7: Rep R3. (16dc)

R8: Rep R3. (18dc)

EDGE

*Ch4, do not turn. Sl st in 2nd ch from hook.
Sc in next ch. Hdc in next ch. Sl st in next row end.
Rep from * along row ends.

Fasten off.

TRUNK

R1: Working in the center 4 sts along the bottom. Join brown with sl st in the first of the four sts.
Ch1, sc in same st. Sc in next 3sts.

Rs2-4: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st.

Fasten off.
