For 15" LCD Screen or
15" monitor
Materials:
Size 5 crochet hook
4 ounces 4 ply red yarm
4 onces 4 ply blue yarn
3 1/2 inch clown head
RUFFLE:
With red yarn ch 193, sl st to first ch.
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 2 dc in same ch. 2 dc in next 11 ch.
Wrap around clown head. St to first dc. Sl st in next
ch, ch 2, dc in same ch, 258 dc in ring. Sl st in top
of ch 3.
Rnd 2: ch 1, sc in same st, skip next st, *3 dc in
next st, sc in next st*; repeat between * *. around,
join with sl st in top of first st, fasten off.
Rnd 3: Join blue with sl st to middle dc of 3 dc
group, ch 1, sc in same stitch, *3 dc in next sc, sc
in middle dc of 3 dc group*; repeat between * *
around, join with sl st in top of first st, fasten off.
Rnd 4 and 5: repeat rnds 2 and 3.
Rnd 6: ch 1, sc in same st. *Ch 3 sk next st, sc in
next st.* Repeat from ending with sl to first ch.
Fasten off.
COLLAR:
Rnd 1: With red yarn repeat rnd 2 of ruffle.
Rnd 2: With blue yarn repeat rnd 3 of ruffle.
Rnd 3: With red Yarn repeat rnd 6 of ruffle.
HAT:
Ch 26, sl to first ch.
Rnd 1: Ch1 sc in same st. Sc in next 25 st, join to first ch.
Rnd 2: Ch 1 sc in same st. *Sc in next 11 sts, sc next two sts
together* repeat from * to * once more. Sl st in first ch.
Rnd 3: Ch 1 sc in same st. *Sc in next 10 sts, sc
next two sts together* repeat from * to * once more.
Sl st in first ch.
Rnd 4: Ch 1 sc in same st. *Sc in next 9 sts, sc next
two sts together* repeat from * to * once more. Sl st
in first ch.
Rnd 5: Ch 1 sc in same st. *Sc in next 8 sts, sc next
two sts together* repeat from * to * once more. Sl st
in first ch.
Rnd 6: Ch 1 sc in same st. *Sc in next 7 sts, sc next
two sts together* repeat from * to * once more. Sl st
in first ch.
Rnd 7: Ch 1 sc in same st. *Sc in next 6 sts, sc next
two sts together* repeat from * to * once more. Sl st
in first ch.
Rnd 8: Ch 1 sc in same st. *Sc in next 5 sts, sc next
two sts together* repeat from * to * once more. Sl st
in first ch.
Rnd 9: Ch 1 sc in same st. *Sc in next 4 sts, sc next
two sts together* repeat from * to * once more. Sl st
in first ch.
Rnd 10: Ch 1 sc in same st. *Sc in next 3 sts, sc
next two sts together* repeat from * to * once more.
Sl st in first ch.
Rnd 11: Ch 1 sc in same st. *Sc in next 2 sts, sc
next two sts together* repeat from * to * once more.
Sl st in first ch.
Rnd 12: Ch 1 sc in same st. *Sc in next 1 sts, sc
next two sts together* repeat from * to * once more.
Sl st in first ch.
Rnd 13: Ch 1 sc next two sts togethe. Sc next two sts
together. Sl st in first ch. Fasten off.
BRIM:
Turn hat inside out.
Rnd 1: On opposite side of original chain with red yarn repeat rnd 2 of ruffle.
Rnd 2: Repeat rnd 3 of ruffle with blue yarn.
Rnd 3: Repeat rnd 6 of ruffle.
Turn hat right side out and place on clown head.
Put ruffle around monitor or LCD screen.
