I made
this for my sister in law... but I forgot to measure it. I believe it
was around 8 inches wide and the length can be adjusted to suit the
individual. |

following pattern is my original design.

MATERIALS:
Red Heart Super
Saver (8 ounces) - Main Color (MC) - White
Bernat Baby Coordinates
(8 ounces) - Contrasting Color (CC) - Burgundy
Hook Size N
Stitches: ch, sl st, sc.
Difficulty: MEDIUM
- MAKE 2 PANELS - (each panel will have 22 separate stripes of color)
R1: Using MC, Ch20, sc in the hump of the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in the hump of each rem ch.
Rs2-4: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st.
NOTE: Change colors after every 4 rows.
R5: Changing to CC, ch1, sc in same st. * Sc in next st one row below. Sc in next st two rows below. Sc in next st three rows below. Sc in next st two rows below. Sc in next st one row below. Sc in next st. Rep from * twice.
R6-8: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st.
Repeat Rows 5-8 twenty more times changing colors after every 4 rows.
For the second panel begin with the contrasting color. When both panels are finished join the first rows of each using a blanket stitch or the joining method of your choice.
FASTEN OFF.
