MATERIALS:

Bernat Baby Sport (less than one 10.5 ounce skein)
Hook Size H

Stitches: ch, dc, sc, sl st.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

R1: Ch4, 2dc in the 4th ch from the hook.
Ch2. 8dc in the same ch. Ch2. 5dc in the same ch.
Join with a sl st in the top of the beg ch4. (16dc & 2-ch2 sps)

R2: Turn. Sl st in the next dc. Ch3.
Dc in the next 4dc. (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in the next ch2 sp.
Dc in next 5dc.

R3: Ch3, turn.
Dc in ea dc across to the ch2 sp.
(2dc, ch2, 2dc) in the ch2 sp.
Dc in ea dc.

Rs4-33: Rep R3.

BORDER

Ch1, do not turn.
2sc in ea row end across to the first row.
Sc in ea st to the corner.
3sc in the corner ch sp.
Sc in ea st across to R2.
2sc in ea row end.
Sc in ea st along R33, placing 3sc in the corner ch-sp and extra scs at ea end of the row.
Join with a sl st in the first sc.

Fasten off.
