Dog Bandana Collar Cover Crochet Pattern

The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver - 4ply ww yarn.
Hook Size F

Stitches: ch, sc, sl st, sc2tog.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

R1: Ch28, sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in ea rem ch. (27sc)

Rs2-14: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea sc.

NOTE: Adjust this pattern to fit any collar
by working more rows than I did for Rs2-14.
When you fold R1 up to R14 see if you can insert
your collar easily... if not, add more rows.

R15: Ch1, turn. Fold R1 up behind R14. Sc corresponding sts tog (this forms the tube through which the collar is inserted) (27sc)

R16: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea sc.

R17: Ch1, turn. Sc2tog. Sc in ea st across to the last 2sts. Sc2tog.

Alternate Rs 16 & 17 until you have 7sts remaining.

LAST THREE ROWS

R1: Ch1, turn. (Sc in first st. Sc2tog) twice. Sc in last st.

R2: Ch1, turn. Sc2tog, sc in next st. Sc2tog.

R3: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st. (3sc)

Fasten off.
