MATERIALS:
Hook: Size G
Yarn: 4-ply Cotton Yarn in two colors
Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, hdc.
Difficulty: EASY
Row 1: Ch 75, hdc in 3rd ch from hk and in each rem ch. Ch 2, turn. (Right Side)
Row 2: Hdc in each st across. Ch 2, turn.
Rows 3-35: Rep Row 2.
Row 36: Rep Row 2 except do not chain 2 at the end.
FASTEN OFF
EDGING:
With right side facing, join contrasting color yarn with a sl st in any sp.
Ch 1, sc in same st. Sc in each rem st and row end, placing 3 sc in each corner.
Join with a sl st to first sc made.
FASTEN OFF
OTHER OPTIONS:
1. Use 3 strands of yarn and a larger hook to make a rug.
2. This pattern can be made using acrylic yarn and used for a doll blanket or a preemie coverlet.
