MATERIALS:
Hook - Size G
Red Heart Super Saver Yarn (4 ply worsted weight)
Stitches: ch, sc, love knot
Love Knot = Ch 1 loosely, sc in the hump on the back of the ch.
Difficulty: EASY
All stitches for the eggs are worked in the front loops only.
Egg #1:
R1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Place Marker.
R2: 2 sc in each sc. Place Marker.
R3: Sc in ea sc. Place Marker.
R4-5: (Sc dec over next 2 sts) around until opening is closed. Do not fasten off.
TIE STRING
Work a strand of love knot stitches until the length is around 24".
Egg #2:
R1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (skip over the tie string if it gets in the way).
Place Marker.
R2: 2 sc in each sc. Place Marker.
R3: Sc in ea sc. Place Marker.
R4-5: (Sc dec over next 2 sts) around until opening is closed.
Fasten off. Weave end into egg.
