Hi, my name's Ellie, and I would love to share this pattern with you since you've shared so many with me :). I adapted this from a thread doily pattern my mother gave me. I have had people pay me to make a set of these coasters for them because they are so sweet. The petals very slightly cup up. I'm sorry I can't provide a picture of this since it is really beautiful, but it doesn't take very long to make one for you to see it! I hope you like it:

Materials:
Worsted Weight/4 ply yarn;
Size E crochet hook

Ch 6; join with slip st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 2, 11 hdc in ring; join with slip st to top of beginning ch 2: 12 sts.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st, ch 2, skip next hdc, *sc in next hdc, ch 2, skip next hdc; repeat from * around; join with slip st to first sc: 6 ch 2 sps.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, (sc, 5 dc, sc) in each ch 2 sp around; join with slip st to first sc: 42 sts.

Rnd 4: Ch 4 (counts as first hdc plus ch 2), skip next 2 dc, sc in next dc, ch 2, skip next 3 sts, *hdc in next sc, ch 2, skip next 2 dc, sc in next dc, ch 2, skip next 3 sts; repeat from * around; join with slip st to first hdc: 12 ch 2 sps.

Rnd 5: Ch 1, *(sc, 3dc) in next ch 2 sp, dc in next sc, (3 dc, sc) in next ch 2 sp, skip next hdc; repeat from * around; join with slip st to first sc: 54 sts.

Rnd 6: Ch 4 (counst as first hdc plus ch 2), skip next dc, sc in next dc, (ch 1, skip next dc, sc in next dc) twice, ch 2, skip next 2 sts, * (hdc in next sc, ch 2, skip next dc, sc in next dc, (ch 1, skip next dc, sc in next dc) twice, ch 2, skip next 2 sts; repeat from * around; join with slip st to first hdc: 24 sps.

Round 7: Ch 1, * (sc, 2 dc) in next ch 2 sp, dc in next sc, (2 dc in next ch 1 sp, dc in next sc) twice, (2 dc, sc) in next ch 2 sp; repeat from * around; join with slip st to first sc: 78 sts.

 

Finish off, and weave in ends.
