MATERIALS:
Hook: Size G
Yarn: Red Heart "Maypole" Yarn - Color 779 Blue 'n' Berry
Decorative Button
Sewing Needle and Thread
Yarn Needle
Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, sc dec.
Difficulty: EASY-MEDIUM
Row 1: Ch 25, join to form a ring. Ch 1, sc in same ch and in each ch around. Place Marker.
Remaining Rows: Sc in BL of each sc around. Reposition marker after each row and repeat this row until the case measures around 6-1/2" or will fit your glasses. Join with sl st in next st. Ch 1, turn.
FLAP
ROW 1: Sc in each of next 10 sc. Ch 1, turn.
ROW 2: Sc dec over next 2 sts. Sc in each of next 6 sts. Sc dec over last 2 sts. Ch 1, turn.
ROW 3: Sc dec over next 2 sts. Sc in each of next 4 sts. Sc dec over last 2 sts. Ch 1, turn.
ROW 4: Sc dec over next 2 sts. Sc in each of next 2 sts. Sc dec over last 2 sts. Ch 1, turn.
ROW 5: (Sc dec over next 2 sts) Twice. Ch 1, turn.
ROW 6: Sc dec over both sts.
Ch 10 (or length needed to accomodate your button). Join to Row 6 to form a button loop.
FASTEN OFF
Using a yarn needle and matching yarn, stitch the opposite end of the case closed.
