MATERIALS:

Bernat Baby Sparkle
Hook Size G

Stitches: ch, sl st, sc, dc, cross stitch.

Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM

R 1: Ch 4, 6dc in 4th ch from hook. Ch 3, turn. (7dc)

R2: Dc in same st as beg ch-3. 2 dc in ea rem dc. (14 dc) Ch-3, turn.

R3: Dc in same st as beg ch-3. * Dc in next st, 2 dc in next st. Rep from * across. Ch-3 turn. (20 dc)

R4: *Sk next st, dc in next st, dc in dc just skipped (cross stitch made). Rep from * across to last st. Dc in last st. (20 dc). Ch-3, turn.

R5: Dc in same sp as beg ch-3. *(Dc, ch-1, dc, ch-1, dc) in sp between next 2 cross stitches. Rep from * across to last cross stitch and dc. Sk last cross stitch, 2 dc in last dc. Ch-3, turn.

R6: Dc in same st as beg ch-3. Dc in next dc. Dc in ea dc across to last dc. 2dc in last dc. Ch-3, turn. (30 dc)

R7: Dc in same sp as beg ch-3. Dc in next 5 dc. Ch-2. Sk next dc. Dc in next 16 dc. Ch-2. Sk next dc. Dc in next 5 dc. 2dc in last dc. Ch-3, turn.

R8: Sc in next st. (ch-3, sc in next st) across.

EDGING: Working along the straight edge... (ch-3, sc in next sp) evenly across. Join with a sl st.
