MATERIALS:

Bernat Softee Baby (less than 4 ounces)
H Hook

Stitches: ch, dc, hdc, sc, sl st.

Difficulty: MEDIUM

R1: Ch71, hdc in the hump of the 3rd ch from the hook. Hdc in the hump of ea rem ch.
(70hdc)

R2: Ch2, turn. Hdc in next st. (Ch2, sk 2sts, hdc in next 2sts) across.

R3: Ch2, turn. Hdc in next st. 2hdc in next ch2 sp.
(Ch2, sk 2 sts, 2hdc in next ch2 sp) across to last 2sts.
Hdc in ea of last 2sts.

Rep R2 & R3 16 times.

LAST ROW
Ch2, turn. Hdc in ea st and place 2hdc in ea ch2 sp. (70hdc)

EDGE:
Ch3, turn. Dc in same st. Ch2.
(2dc in next st or chsp, ch2) around entire afghan.

NOTE: I worked in ea row end along the sides when making the EDGE.

Join with a sl st in top of the beg ch 3.

Fasten off.
