MATERIALS:

Hook: Size I
4 Ply Cotton Yarn

Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, hdc, tr.

Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM

R1: Ch 8. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in ea rem ch. Ch 1, turn.

R2: 2 sc in same st. Sc in ea of next 5 sc. 2 sc in last st. Ch 1, turn.

R3: 2 sc in same st. Sc in ea of next 7 sc. 2 sc in last st. Ch 1, turn.

R4: 2 sc in same st. Sc in ea of next 9 sc. 2 sc in last st. Ch 1, turn.

R5: Sc in ea st. Ch 1, turn.

R6: Sc dec over two sts. Sc in ea of next 9 st. Sc dec over last two sts. Ch 1, turn.

R7: Sc dec over two sts. Sc in ea of next 7 st. Sc dec over last two sts. Ch 1, turn.

R8: Sc dec over two sts. Sc in ea of next 5 st. Sc dec over last two sts. Ch 1, turn.

R9: Sc in ea st. Ch 1, Do Not Turn.

EDGING: Sc evenly around. Join with sl st.

Fasten Off.

TAIL: Join same color in end of R3. Ch 4, work 3 tr in same st. Hdc in next st. Work 4 tr in next st. Fasten Off.

Using contrasting color, sew on an eye and mouth (refer to photo).
