MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight
(Black less than 1-1/4 oz & Orange - small amount)
Empty cardboard tube from a roll of toilet tissue

Hook Size H/8-5.00 MM & E/4-3.50 MM

Stitches: ch, dc, sc, sl st.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

NOTE: Do not turn on any round. Entire pattern is worked from the right side.

R1: With Black yarn and the H Hook, ch22, Sc in the first ch made to form a ring. Sc in ea rem ch. (Right Side)

Begin Continuous Round

Rs2-21: Place Marker. Sc in ea st.

R22: Sl st in the next st. Ch3, work 2dc in ea st around. Join with a sl st in the top of the beg ch3.

Opposite End

R1: Pull the yarn tail through the next st on the foundation ch to even out the edge.
Join black yarn in any st using a sl st. Ch3, work 2dc in ea st around.
Join with a sl st in the top of the beg ch3.

R2: Ch3, dc in ea st. Join with a sl st in the top fo the beg ch3.

Fasten off.

Insert cardboard tube now.

TIE STRING
(Make 2)

Using the E Hook and orange yarn, make enough chains to measure approximately 15".

On each end of the favor, insert one Tie String where the single crochet row and double crochet row meet. Wrap Tie String around the one end and tie it in a bow to secure it.
Fill open end of favor with candy of choice and secure that end with a bow also.
