The following pattern is my original design.

MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (Pumpkin- 2 ounces)
Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (Black - 1/4 ounce)
Hook Size J
Yarn needle

Stitches: ch, rev sc, sc, sl st.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

R1: With Pumpkin, Ch23, sc in the hump of the second ch from the hook. Sc in the hump of ea rem ch. (22sc)

Rs 2-6: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st.

R7: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st and row end. Join with a sl st in the first sc.

R8: Ch1, do not turn. Sc in BLO of ea st around. Join with a sl st in the first sc.

CONTINUOUS ROUNDS

Ch1, sc in ea st around, place marker in first st of ea round.
Continue until piece measures 5" from the unworked lps on R8.

Join with a sl st.

Fasten off.

Join Black in the same st where you fastened off by working 1sc in the st. Sc in ea rem st. Join with a sl st.

Fasten off.

Join Black with a sc in any unworked lp on R8. Rev sc in ea unworked lp around.
Join with a sl st.

Fasten off

HANDLE:

R1: With Black, Ch5, sc in the second ch from the hook. Sc in ea rem ch. (4sc)

R2: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st. (4sc)

Rep R2 until handle measures 12-14".
Use a yarn needle and same color yarn to sew it onto the inside of the bag as shown in the photo.
