The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.

MATERIALS:

Hook: H

Yarn: Any 4ply worsted weight yarn should work fine.
For the potholder in the photo I used Keepsake Sayelle (Article No. 610).

Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc.

Difficulty: EASY

ROW 1: Ch 30, sc in 2nd ch from hk and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.

ROW 2: Sc in bl only of each sc. Ch 1, turn.

ROWS 3-18: Rep Row 2.

Fold long sides together and sl st corresponding stitches together down the long side and across one end. Turn the potholder inside out. The open end is where you slip it over the handle of a pan or pot.

Attach yarn in any stitch along the open end of the potholder. Ch 8, sl st in same st. Fasten off. This forms a hanging loop for the potholder.

WEAVE IN ENDS

HAPPY CROCHETING
