The following pattern is my original design.

This pattern has not been tested so please contact me if you find any errors.
MATERIALS:
Hook: Size Q
2-1/2" Fabric Strips (I'm not sure how to tell you how much I used)
Stitches used: ch, sl st, hdc.
Difficulty: EASY
NOTE: This pattern works up very quickly and is great for a last minute gift project.
You can also make this hotpad out of numerous strands of yarn.
RND 1: Ch 3, 11 hdc in 3rd ch from hk. Join with sl st. Ch 2, turn.
RND 2: Sc in same st s beg ch 2, 2 sc in each rem st. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 2.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
