baby or fingering weight yarn
Larger or smaller hook or yarn will change size!

Round 1 ch 4, 15 Dc in fourth ch from hook.
Round 2 Ch3 (this will count as first dc here and in every row after)
dc in same st, and 2dc in each st around 32 sts. sl st to top of ch 3.
do not finish!
ch 27 and skip next 7 dc of instep and sl st into 8th st.

Sides and Sole
Round 1 Ch 3 dc in each of next 23 dc, dc in each loop of chain. sl st
into top of ch 3! 52 sts!
Round 2 Ch 3, one dc in each dc around ! Sl st to ch3.
Round 3 Ch 3 (dc decrease ove next 2 dc ,dc in next dc)around sl st to
top of ch 3. 35 sts.
Round 4 Ch 3, dc in next dc,(dc dec in next dc) around and sl st to top
of ch 3! 24 sts.
Round 5 Ch 2, dc in next dc, (dec around) sl st to top of ch 2.
Round 6 Ch 1, sc dec around. sl st to ch 1.
Finish with a long length of yarn to thread through needle and pull
through the 6 sts in center of sole, pull up and finish off!

Cuff
Round 1 join yarn one st after marked st, ch 3, dc in each back loop of
chain 27. 24 times. Work dc dec over corner sts and dc in next 5 dc.
Work dc dec over next two sts and attach to top of ch3.
2 through 7
Ch 3 and dc in each st around sl st to top of ch3! 8 rows. Finish!!
ch 30 and hook to center back post in second row of cuff! and ch 30
more! Tie off and thread ch through both sides of bootie and tie! fold
down cuff over tie and you are done!!
This is a favorite way of making ties for me! If they are hooked or sc
into the back of the bootie they won’t get lost and when you turn the cuff
down the baby isn’t as likely to kick the tie undone and kick off the
bootie!
