Stitches Used: ch, rev sc, hdc.
Reverse Single Crochet: Worked from left to right; whereas a regular single crochet stitch is worked from right to left. Insert your hook into the stitch or space indicated, then yarn over and pull up a loop. (You should have two loops on your hook.) Yarn over and draw through both of the loops on your hook.

Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM

- MAKE 2 -

Rnd 1: Ch 3, 9 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. Sl st in top of beg ch-3. Do Not Turn. (this is the right side because you never turn the piece over)

Rnd 2: Sl st between next 2 sts. Ch 2. Hdc in same sp.
* 2 hdc in space between next two stitches. Rep from * around. Sl st in top of beg ch-2.

Rnd 3: Rep Rnd 2.

Fasten off & weave ends.

Holding wrong sides together, join with a sl st in any 2 corresponding sts. Rev Sc in all corresponding sts, leaving the last 10 sts unworked, Rev Sc in each st on the back piece, sl st in same sp as 1st rev sc made. Do not fasten off.

Ch 30, join with sl st on opposite side of opening. Sl st in ea ch across handle. Sl st at base of handle.

Using sewing needle and coordinating thread, sew two plastic snaps inside opening.

NOTE: This purse can be attached to a child's belt loop by inserting the top of the handle through the belt loop and pulling the purse back through the handle. It can also be attached to a backpack or the ring of a notebook.
