MATERIALS:

Hook: Size H
Bernat Softee Baby Sparkle

Yarn Needle
Ribbon

Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, dc.

Difficulty: EASY

R1: Ch 20, sc in hump of 2nd ch from hook. Sc in hump of ea rem ch. Ch 1, turn. (19 sc)

R2: - right side-
Sc in same st as beg ch. (Dc in nest st, sc in next st) across. Ch 1, turn. (19 sts)

R3: Sc in ea st. Ch 1, turn. (19 sts)

Rows 4-41: Rep R2 & R3 for 19 repeats.

With right side up, place the piece around the New Testament folding it on the inner side of each flap to fit.
Sew the top and bottom edges on each side to form the little pockets within which to insert the flaps.

Add ribbon tie to center edge of back flap, wrap ribbon around the New Testament and tie the bow on the front.
