Doll Measurements:
Head = 7-1/2"
Chest = 8-1/8"
Neck = 4-3/4"
Neck to Feet = 7"
Waist = 7-3/4"

MATERIALS:

Mary Maxim Crochet Cotton - Mercerized Sportweight (white)
Steel Hook Size 1
Small Button
Sewing Needle & White Thread
16" piece of 1/8" Ribbon

Stitches: ch, sc, dc.

Difficulty: MEDIUM


R1: Ch 25. Sc in 2nd ch from hk and in each rem ch across. Ch 1, turn. (24 sc)

R2: 2 Sc in ea sc. Ch-1, turn. (48 sc)

R3: Sc in each sc. Ch-1, turn. (48 sc)

R4: Rep R3.

R5: Sc in ea sc. ch 3, turn.

R6: Sk sp @ bottom of ch-3. Sk next dc. Dc in next dc. Dc in dc just skipped. * Sk next dc. Dc in next dc. Dc in dc just skipped. Rep from * across. Dc in last sc. Ch-3, turn.

R7: Dc in ea st. Ch-3, turn.

R8: 2 dc in ea st. (96 dc).

R9: Sc in first 12 sts. Ch 10. Sk next 23 sts. Sc in next 26 sts. Ch 10. Sk next 23 sts. Sc in last 12 sts. Join with sl st to 1st sc on this row.

R10: Ch-1, do not turn. Sc in same st as joining and in each st around. Join with sl st. Ch-4, turn.

R11: Sk next st, dc in next st. * Ch-1, sk next st, dc in next st. Rep from * around. Join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-4. Ch-1, do not turn.

R12: Sc in each dc and ch-1 sp around. Do not join.

R13: Working in a continuous round, sc in each st until the dress is the desired length. Join with a sl st.

R14: * Ch-3, sc in next st. Rep from * around. Join with a sl st to first ch of beg ch-3.

Fasten Off.

Finishing: Weave ribbon into Rnd 11 and tie a bow in the front. With back of dress facing you, sew the button to the right side near the neckline. Attach yarn on the left side and make enough chains to go around the button then join with a sl st to the same sp as joining. This makes a loop to put the button through.
