MATERIALS:
Mary Maxim Crochet Cotton - Mercerized Sportweight
Steel Hook - Size 1
Small Piece of Cardboard

Contrasting Color Yarn
Stitches used: ch, sl st, dc.
Difficulty: EASY
Foundation: Ch 32, join with sl st to beg ch.
R1: (Ch 5, dc in same ch). * Dc in next 6 chs. (dc, ch2, dc) in next ch. Dc in next 8 chs. *
(Dc, ch 2, dc) in next ch. Rep from * to * once. Join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch 5.
R2: Sl st in Ch-2 sp. Ch 3, (dc, ch-2, 2dc) in same sp.
* Dc in next 8 dc. (2dc, ch-2, 2dc) in next ch-2 sp. Dc in next 10- dc. *
(2dc, ch-2, 2dc) in next ch-2 sp. Rep from * to *. Join with sl st in top of beg ch-3.
Fasten Off.
FINISHING: Cut a scrap piece of cardboard to fit behind the frame.
Punch holes in the corners of the cardboard and the photo to line up with the holes in the corners of R1.
Using the contrasting color thread or yarn... pull yarn through from front to back on bottom
corner leaving a length to tie. From behind the piece, bring the yarn through the top
corner on R1, and go back through the frame on R2.
Repeat on other side. Tie bow on the bottom and a bow on the top to hang it up with.
