Photo Wreath

The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Hook Size G

4 Ply Cotton Yarn (Green and small amount of Red)
Yarn Needle
2" Metal Ring

Stitches Used: ch, sl st, hdc, dc.

Difficulty: MEDIUM

Rnd 1: With Green, join yarn to ring with a sl st. Work 35 sc in ring. Join with sl st in 1st sc made. Ch 2, turn.

Rnd 2: Hdc in FL only of same sp as beg ch 2.
2 hdc in FL only of each rem st. Join with sl st. Ch 2, turn.

Rnd 3: Hdc in each st around, join with sl st in top of beg ch 2.
For hanging loop, ch 12 and join with a sl st at the base of the ch 12.

Working in the unworked loops of Rnd 1, with a yarn needle and red thread begin whip stitching over each loop to accent the wreath and leave a length on each end to tie a bow at the top.

BACK:

Rnd 1, With Green, Ch 4, 11 dc in 4th ch from hook. Ch 3, turn.
Rnd 2: Dc in same st as beg ch 3. 2 dc in each rem st. Join with sl st.

Fasten off leaving a long strand for sewing. Hold the back and front together with the back opposite the side with the red accent stitching. Using the yarn needle sew around approximately 2/3 of the back catching random loops in the stitches on the back side of the front piece. Leave top 1/3 of back piece unstitched so you can insert a photo.
