MATERIALS:

Red Heart 4 ply, worsted weight yarn (small amount red and white)
Hook Size G
Ornament Hanger (not pictured)

Stitches: ch, sc, sl st, dc, tr, picot.

PICOT = Ch3, sl st in 3rd ch,

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

- MAKE 2 -
(one red and one white)

R1: Ch 4, dc in 4th ch from hook.
(Ch3, dc around post of last dc) 4 times.
Join with sl st bet beg ch4 and first dc. (Right Side).

R2: Ch1, Do not turn. (Sc, dc, 2tr, dc, sc) in ea sp bet beg chs and dc stitch.
Star formed. Fasten Off.

EDGING

With wrong sides tog. Holding both stars tog with the white star facing you and working through corresponding sts. Join white through both pieces in any st (through both stars). Work one sc in ea st around... placing (sc, picot, sc) bet 2tr sts on each point. Join with sl st to first st. Fasten off.

Attach an ornament hanger to any picot st.
