"Here is a crochet pattern I made for that new Pok'emon fad. It is a pikachu, which is the main pok'emon character. I would love for you to post this on your site. Great for your kids, cousins, niece, nephew...

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn:
MC(Yellow)-3 ounces, (90 grams, 200 yards)
Color A(Light brown)-22 yards
Color B(Black)-10 yards
Crochet hook, size H(5.00mm) or size needed for gauge
Polyester stuffing
Yarn needle

GAUGE:
Rnds 1-3 of Head =1 1/2"
7 sc and 7 rows = 2"

*Remember to mark the start of each Rnd with the marker.

HEAD:
With MC(Yellow), ch 3 loosely; being careful not to twist ch,
join with slip st to form a ring.
Rnd 1(Right side): 2 Sc in each ch around; do not join, place
marker: 6 sc.
Rnd 2: 2 Sc in each sc around: 12 sc.
Rnd 3: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc)around: 18 sc.
Rnd 4: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc)around: 24 sc.
Rnd 5: (Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc)around: 30 sc.
Rnd 6: (Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc)around: 36 sc.
Rnds 7-16: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 17: (Sc in next 2, decrease)around; do not finish off.
Stuff head firmly.

BODY:
Rnd 1: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 2: 2 Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 3: (Sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc)around.
Rnds 4-19: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 20: (Sc in next 5 sc, decrease)around.
Rnd 21: Decrease around.
Rnd 22: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 23: (Sc in next sc, decrease)around.
Rnd 24: Sc in each sc around.
Stuff Body firmly.
Rnd 25: Decrease around; slip st in next sc, finish off leaving a long end or sewing.
Thread yarn needle with end and weave through remaining stitches; gather tightly and secure.

ARM (Make 2):
With MC(Yellow), ch 7, being careful not to twist ch, join with slip st to form a ring.
Rnd 1(Right side): 2 Sc in each ch around; do not join, place marker.
Rnd 2: Sc around.
Rnd 3: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc)around.
Rnd 4-10: Sc in each sc around; at end of Rnd 10, slip st in next sc, finish off leaving a long end for sewing.
Sew opening closed, and sew on sides of body close to the head.


FEET (Make 2):
With MC(Yellow), ch 3, being careful not to twist ch, join with slip st to from a ring.
Rnd 1(Right side): 2 Sc in each ch around; do not join, place marker.
Rnd 2: Sc around.
Rnd 3: 2 Sc in each st around.
Rnd 4-11: Sc around; at end of Rnd 11, slip st in next sc, finish off leaving a long end for sewing.
Sew opening closed, and sew on bottom with front tips pointing at 5 and 7 o'clock.

EARS (Make 2):
With Color B(Black), ch 3; being careful not to twist ch, join with slip st to form a ring.
Rnd 1(Right side): 2 Sc in each ch around; do not join, place marker.
Rnd 2: Sc around.
Rnd 3: Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc.
Rnd 4: same as Rnd 3; switch to MC(Yellow).
Rnd 5: Sc around.
Rnd 6: Sc around.
Rnd 7: Same as Rnd 3.
Rnd 8: Sc around.
Rnd 9: Sc around.
Rnd 10: Same as Rnd 3.
Rnd 11: Sc around.
Rnd 12: Same as Rnd 3; at end of Rnd 12, slip st in next sc, finish off leaving a long end for sewing. Stuff ears. Sew on sides of head close to the top. Make sure you don't sew to ears shut like you did with the arms and feet. Just sew them to the head.

TAIL(Make 1):
With Color A(light brown), ch5.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in rest of chs. ch1, turn.
Row 2: Sc across, ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Sc in first 2 sc, ch1, turn.
Row 4: 2 sc, change to yellow, ch 13, turn.
Row 5: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, and in next 14 sc, ch1, turn.
Row 6: Sc across, ch1, turn.
Row 7: Sc across, turn.
Row 8: Slip st in next 10 sc, ch1, sc in next 4 sc, ch1, turn.
Row 9-14: Sc in 4 sc, ch1, turn. Fasten off. Sew both halfs together.
Sew tail to body with brown end connecting to lower portion of back.
Connect corner of tail to back of neck.

FACE:
Sew in eyes, mouth, and nose using the black yarn and the needle.
Make the eyes big, the nose small and cute, and the mouth like a cat's smile.
If you wish, you can make the cheeks rosie with some pink or red yarn.

BACK:
Use light brown yarn and needle to make two rows on upper back. Sew the rows to look like this: /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ each.
