Ripple Doll Bib


This is Haley and her doll which is wearing the bib.

The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.

MATERIALS:

2 ply Cotton Yarn
Hook Size F (I used aluminum instead of steel on this one)
1/8" ribbon (2-8-10" pieces)

Stitches: ch, sl st, dc.

Difficulty: EASY


Row 1: Ch 35, dc in 4th ch from hook. Dc in next 15 chs. 5 dc in next ch. Dc in each of last 16 ch.
Ch 3, turn.

Rows 2: Dc in ea dc, placing 5 dc in the center dc of the 5dc group on the previous row. Ch 3, turn.

Row 3: Dc in ea dc, placing 5 dc in the center dc of the 5dc group on the previous row. Ch 1, turn.

Row 4: Sl st in 1st 4 sts. Ch 3, dc in ea dc (leaving the last 3 sts unworked), placing 5 dc in the center dc of the 5dc group on the previous row.

Row 5: Rep R2.

Row 6: Rep R3.

Row 7-9: Rep Rs 4-6.

Fasten Off.

TIE: Cut one 8-10" ribbon for each tie. Tie one ribbon on each end of R1 to use as the tie strings.
