The following pattern is my original design.

MATERIALS:
Cotton Yarn - 4 ply, worsted weight (Less than 3 ounces)
Hook: Size H
Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, dc.
3dc-grp = this is a grouping of 3 double crochet stitches
Difficulty: MEDIUM
NOTE: Entire pattern is worked from the right side.
Do not turn on any rows.
R 1: Ch 4, 9dc in 4th ch from the hook. (10dc)
R2: Ch1, do not turn. (Sc in next st. 3dc in next st.) around
Join with a sl st in the first sc.
R3: Ch3, do not turn. 2dc in same st.
Sc in 1st dc of next 3dc-grp.
3dc in the center dc of the same 3dc-grp.
Sc in 3rd dc of same 3dc-grp.
* 3dc in next sc.
3dc in 1st dc of next 3dc-grp.
3dc in the center dc of the same 3dc-grp.
Sc in 3rd dc of same 3dc-grp.
Rep from * around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch3.
R4: Ch1, do not turn.
*Sc in same st. (1st st of 3dc-grp)
3dc in center dc of same 3dc-grp.
Sc in 3rd dc of same 3dc-grp.
Sk next sc.
Rep from * around.
Join with sl st in 1st sc made.
R5: Ch3, do not turn.
Dc in next st.
3dc in next st. (the center dc of that 3dc-grp)
(Dc in next 4 sts. 3dc in next st) around to last 2sts.
Dc in each of last 2sts.
Join with sl st in top of beg ch3. (70dcs)
R6: Ch3, do not turn.
Dc in ea st. Join with sl st in top fo beg ch3. (70dc)
R7: Ch1, do not turn. Sc in same st.
(Dc, ch1, dc) in next st.
*Sc in next st.
(Dc, ch1, dc) in next st.
Rep from * around.
Join with sl st in first sc.
R8: Do not turn. Sl st in ea st and into next ch-sp.
Ch4, dc in same st.

Join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch4.
R9: Do not turn. Sl st in ch1 sp.
Ch3.
