MATERIALS:
2 ply Cotton Yarn
Hook Size F (I used aluminum instead of steel on this one)
1/8" ribbon
Stitches: ch, sc, hdc, dc.
Difficulty: EASY
MAKE 2
Row 1: Ch 5, join with sl st to form a ring. Ch 3, dc in ring. Ch 2. (2dc, ch 2) in ring 5 times.
Join with sl st in top of beg ch. Ch 3, turn.
Rows 2: * 3dc in next ch-2 sp. Dc in ea of next 2 dc. Rep from * around to last ch-2 sp. 3 dc in last ch-2 sp. Dc in last dc. Join with sl st in top of be ch-3.
Row 3: Ch 3, do not turn. Dc in ea dc. Join with sl st in top of beg ch-3.
Row 4-5: Rep R3.
Row 6: Dc in next 23 dc. Ch 3, turn. (this leaves 6 unworked dc)
Row 7: Dc in ea dc. Ch-1, turn.
Row 8: Sc in 1st 4 sts. Hdc in next 4 sts. Dc in next 8 sts. Hdc in next 4 sts. Sc in next 4 sts. Ch-1, turn.
Row 9: Rep R8.
Row 10: (Ch 3, sc in next st) across.
Fasten Off.
FRONT FLAP:
Row 1: Attach thread to first unworked st on R6. Ch-2. Hdc in ea unworked st. ( 6 hdc)
Ch 2, turn.
Row 2: Hdc in ea st. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Sc in 1st st, hdc in next st, dc in next 2 sts, hdc in next st, sc in last st.
Fasten Off.
TIE: Cut one 14" ribbon for each bootie and weave it through the bootie at R7 and through R3 of the front flap. Tie in a bow.
