Sasha's Hotpad Free Crochet Pattern

Measures 8" x 8"


The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (White - 1-1/2 ounces)
Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (Gray - 1-1/2 ounces)

Hook Size J

Stitches: ch, sc, sl st.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM


NOTE: Entire pattern is worked holding two strands of white and two strands of gray together throughout.

R1: Ch2, sc in the second ch from the hook.
(Ch2, sc in the same st.) 3 times.
Ch2. Join with a sl st in the first sc.

R2: Ch1, turn. (Sc ch2, sc) in the next ch sp.
Ch2. * (Sc, ch2, sc) in the next ch sp.
Ch2.

Rep from * around.

R3: Ch1, turn. Sc in the next ch sp. Ch2.
(Sc, ch2, sc) in the next corner sp.
* Ch2. Sc in the next ch sp.
Ch2, (Sc, ch2, sc) in the next corner sp.
Rep from * around.

Ch2. Join with a sl st in the first sc.

R4: Ch1, turn. Sc in the next ch sp.
Ch2. (Sc, ch2, sc) in the next corner sp.

(ch2, sc in the next ch sp.) twice.
(Sc, ch2, sc) in the next corner sp.
Ch2, sc in the next ch sp.
Ch2.

Join with a sl st in the first sc.

R5: Ch1, turn. Sc in the next ch sp.
Ch2, sc in the next ch sp.
Ch2. (sc, ch2, sc) in the next corner sp.
*(Ch2, sc in the next ch sp) three times.
Ch2. (Sc, ch2, sc) in the next corner sp.
Rep from * twice.
Ch2, sc in next ch sp.
Ch2, Join with a sl st in the first sc.

R6: Ch1, turn. Sc in next ch sp.
