MATERIALS:
Caron Simply
Soft Brites
4ply worsted weight (Mango - less than 3 ounces for a Miniature Schnauzer)
Hook Size I
Yarn Needle
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Stitches: ch,
sc.
Difficulty:
EASY
STEP ONE:
Measurement 1:
Measure your dog from the left front leg, across the back to the right front
leg.
Sawyer measured 22".
Measurement 2:
Measure your dog
around the biggest part of one front leg loosely.
Sawyer

R1: Chain the number of
stitches to equal Measurement 2.
Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. Sc in ea rem ch.
R2: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea
st.
Repeat Row 2 until the piece
equals Measurement 1.
Fasten off.
Fold the piece with row
ends together (the long sides).
Using the same yarn and a yarn needle, sew
corresponding stitches together on each end to form the sleeves.
To determine how far to sew you can lay the piece over the dog and place a stitch
marker on each side.
Be sure to stitch the same amount for each sleeve.
