Scrap Yarn Fiesta Rug Crochet Pattern

Measures

19" wide x 28" long


The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Scrap Yarn... any colors, weights or textures.
(Approximately 115 ounces or 870 grams)
Hook Size Q

Stitches: ch, dc, sl st, sc, bpdc, fpdc.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM


NOTE: Entire rug is worked holding six strands of yarn together at once.
When you run out of one strand of yarn add in another to keep six strands
and
work over yarn tails as you go when possible.

R1: Ch27, dc in 4th ch from hook and in ea rem ch. (25dc)

R2: Ch3, turn. Fpdc around next st.
(Bpdc around next st. Fpdc around next st.) across to last.
Dc in last st.

R3: Ch3, turn. (Fpdc around ea fpdc and bpdc around ea bpdc across to last
st. Dc in last st.

Rep R3 until desired length.

BORDER
Ch1, do not turn. Sc evenly around entire rug, placing 3sc in ea corner.
Join with sl st in first sc.

Fasten off.
