Socks - Child Size 9

The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.

MATERIALS:

Hook Size G

Bernat Softee Baby Yarn (sport weight)
Yarn Needle

Stitches Used: ch, sl st, hdc.

Difficulty: EASY/ MEDIUM

Row 1: Ch 50, hdc in hump of 3rd ch from hook and in each rem ch across. Ch 2, turn. (48 hdc)

Row 2: Hdc in ea st across. Ch 2, turn.

Rows 3-7: Rep Row 2.

Row 8: Hdc in 1st 24 sts. Dc in next 6 sts. Hdc in last 18 sts. Ch 2, turn.

Row 9: Hdc in next 18 sts. Dc in next 6 sts. Hdc in last 24 sts. Ch 2, turn.

Row 10: Rep Row 8.

Row 11: Rep Row 9.

Row 12: Rep Row 8.

Row 13: Rep Row 9.

Rows 14-20: Rep Row 2.

Finishing: Holding Rows 1 and 20 together, sc corresponding sts tog. Turn sock inside out. With the joining seam on the inside center top of the sock, sew the toe together using same yarn and a yarn needle. Turn sock inside out once more so seam is on the outside top. Fold down the cuff.
