MATERIALS:
Red Heart
4 ply WW Yarn (burgundy & off white)
Hook Size I
Stitches: ch, sl st,
sc, dc.
Difficulty: MEDIUM/DIFFICULT
R1: With burgundy, make
a slip knot leaving a 6"-8" yarn tail. Put the loop on your hook.
Loop the yarn tail to form a ring.
Ch3. 11dc around the ring. Join with sl st in front loop only of beg ch3.
Pull yarn tail to draw the center closed.
R2A: Ch6, do not turn. Insert
hook in 2nd ch from hook and draw up a lp. Rep for the rem 4chs.
Yo and draw through all 6 lps on the hook.
Sl st in the FL only of the same st, at the base of the 6 chains. [petal made]
* Sl st in FL only of the next st.
Ch6, draw a lp up in the 2nd ch from the hook and in each of the rem 4 chs.
Yo and draw through all 6 lps.
Sl st in FL only of the same st, at the base of the 6 chs. [petal made]
Rep from * around.
Join with sl st and fasten off.
R2B: Working in the unworked
lps on R1. Join off white, with a sl st in any unworked lp.
Ch3, dc in same st. 2dc in ea rem st.
Join with sl st in top of beg ch3.
R3: Ch3, do not turn. Dc
in next st on R2B.
Sc in center of next petal on R2A.
* Dc in next 2sts on R2B.
Sc in center of next petal on R2A.
Rep from * around.
Join with sl st.
R4: Ch1, * Sc in next st.
Ch3. Draw up a lp in the 2nd and 3rd ch.
Draw up a lp in the next st.
Yo and draw through all 4 lps.
Rep from * around.
Join with sl st in the first sc.
Fasten off.
