Support Our Troops Ribbon

The following pattern is my original design.
I made this pattern so we can show our soldiers we support them.
Please copy or print this pattern for yourself or anyone you think would like to make these for themselves or others. Please do not sell this pattern or post it on a website or elsewhere.

Please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Cotton Floss (2-8.75 yd skeins of yellow)
Steel Hook - Size 2
Heart/Cross Tack Pin

Stitches Used: ch, sl st, sc, love knot.

LOVE KNOT - Ch 1 loosely, sc in the hump on the back of the ch.

Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM

The single crochet stitches represent our soldiers working together.
The love knot edging represents the people who love and pray for them daily.
The heart/cross pin reminds us that God holds us all in His hands.

R1: Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in ea rem ch. Ch 1, turn.

R2-42: Sc in ea sc. Ch 1, turn.

R43: Sc in each sc. Do not turn.

Edging: (Love knot, sc) evenly around entire ribbon. I worked a single in every other row along each side and placed 2 stitches on each corner leaving the center stitches on the top and bottom unworked.

Wear this ribbon to show our soldiers you care!

HAPPY CROCHETING
